Privacy Policy

KOMBO is a single-player burger shop management game. You can play the entire game without an account and without any data leaving your device. Signing in is optional and exists only to back up your progress and to appear on the leaderboard.
1. What the game stores on your device
Your progress — shop name, cash, stock, staff, regulars, elapsed time — is saved locally on your device. On iOS this uses the system preferences store; in the web version it uses your browser's local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you sign in.
2. What we collect if you sign in
Signing in uses Sign in with Apple. If you choose to sign in, the following is stored on our servers:
| Data | Why | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|
| An account identifier issued by Apple | To recognise you across devices | Only us |
| Your email address, if Apple shares it | Account recovery and support | Only us |
| A display name | Shown next to your score on the leaderboard | Public |
| Your game save (the same data as above, including the shop name you typed) | So you don't lose progress if you change device | Only you |
| Your best score | Leaderboard | Public |
Apple lets you hide your real email address using Private Relay. If you do, we only ever see the relay address. Apple shares your name only on the very first sign-in; if you decline it, your leaderboard entry shows as “Anonymous”.
The shop name you type appears in your save data. Your save is private to your account, but please don't put personal information in it.
3. What we do not do
- No advertising and no ad networks.
- No analytics, tracking pixels or third-party SDKs that profile you.
- No selling or sharing of data with anyone.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access.
- No push notifications.
4. Where the data is held
Account data, saves and scores are stored with Supabase, our database provider, who processes it on our behalf. Access is restricted at the database level: your save can only be read by your own account.
5. How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. There is no other retention period — we do not keep backups of deleted accounts.
6. Deleting your account
In the game: Settings → Delete account. This permanently removes your account, your cloud save and your leaderboard entry. It cannot be undone. The copy of your progress on your own device is not affected and you can keep playing as a guest.
Full instructions, including what to do if you no longer have the app, are on the account deletion page.
If you can't reach the in-app option, email us at guidyapp.dev@gmail.com from the address linked to your account and we will delete it.
7. Children
KOMBO is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. There is no chat, no user-to-user contact and no user-generated content beyond your own display name.
8. Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete it outright — deletion is available in the app without contacting anyone. For the other two, write to guidyapp.dev@gmail.com.
9. The YouTube Playables version
KOMBO also runs inside YouTube Playables. That version has no accounts and no servers of ours at all — progress is stored through YouTube's own save API and this policy's sections 2, 4 and 5 do not apply to it.
10. Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be shown in the app before they take effect.
